Turkey considers joining the Eurasian Customs Union, which consists of members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Erkan Ozoral said on Wednesday.
"This is an economic issue. Of course, it also has political sides. In any case, all this will be considered and a final decision will be made,” the ambassador told reporters in Baku.
Turkey’s Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci earlier said that Turkey will start negotiations with the Eurasian Customs Union this year.
