The decision on pretrial detention for Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov’s grandson Nail Allahverdiyev was made by Khatai District Court.
According to him, Allahverdiyev also participated in the hearing.
Bayramov also said that Allahverdiyev regrets for the accident. No decision was made about filing an appeal.
Alahverdiyev committed a fatal traffic accident in Baku with his Mercedes-Gelandewagen car. As a result of the accident, two people were killed, one more injured.
A criminal case was launched under the article #263.3 and 264 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. The court has sentenced Allahverdiyev to a 4-month pretrial detention.
