Azerbaijan sacks three officials for corruption offenses


Over the fist six months of 2018, three officials were dismissed in Azerbaijan for corruption offenses, said Kamran Aliyev, Deputy Prosecutor General, Head of the Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General.


During the reporting period, 10 officials were officially warned for corruption offences, 8 others were reprimanded and 2 received a severe reprimand, noted Aliyev. 


He said that this year the Department continued anti-corruption measures in the country.


Aliyev added that 47 submissions were sent to various state bodies and officials to eliminate the registered law violations and prevent the recurrence of such cases in the future.
