Details of MoU between Russian, Iranian companies revealed

The memorandum of understanding signed between Russian Trade and Economic Development Council‏ (RTEDC) and Iran’s government-owned IDRO (Industrial Development & Renovation Organization) doesn’t envisage financial burden.

The MoU was signed on Sept.19 during the opening of the b2b session at IDRO. RTEDC delegation visited Tehran as part of the business mission of Chelyabinsk region to Iran.

"This is a framework agreement and doesn’t envisage financial burden," noted the source.

The document envisages promotion of joint projects of Russian and Iranian companies in the spheres of oil and gas, transport, industrial renovation, high technologies, energy, technical and analytical cooperation, said the source without specifying which companies will cooperate in the mentioned fields.

"The agreement was worked out for several months. The sides expressed confidence in the further development of industrial cooperation and investment projects between Russian and Iranian companies, thanks to the agreements reached," said the source.
