Azerbaijani family of five burned alive in fire accident in Russia

An Azerbaijani family of five—a 37-year-old man with her three sons, 3, 6, and 10 years old, and 1-year-old daughter—burned alive in a tragic fire accident in Sukhobuzimsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia on July 24 around 1:35AM local time.

 

The man’s 14-year-old son was hospitalized with the diagnosis of burns and carbon monoxide poisoning.

 

The fact is under investigation.

 

Ayaz Mammadov, deputy chairman of Azerbaijan National Cultural Autonomy in Krasnoyarsk Krai, all those killed in the fire are Azerbaijani.

 

The mother was not at home at the time of the accident.

 

Efforts are underway to determine the causes of the fire and identify the victims.
