Twenty-seven settlements have been liberated from terrorists as part of the Operation Olive Branch in Syria’s Afrin city, the Turkish media reported Feb. 1 quoting a military source.
The operation is underway in seven directions in Syria. The positions of terrorists of the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) and the People’s Protection Units (YPG) is also being shelled from the territory of Turkey.
On Jan. 20, the Turkish Armed Forces, together with the Free Syrian Army, launched the Operation Olive Branch in Afrin, Syria.
