A meeting on the "Action plan to reduce child mortality in the Republic of Azerbaijan” was held in Ganja City Health Department on Jan. 15.
The main objective of the meeting was to reduce country’s child mortality rates to a single digit and to convey these indicators to the ranks of the world's most developed countries.
It was noted that country’s infant and child mortality rates dropped three times over the past 25-30 years.
The analysis of child mortality in the region in 2017 was also conducted at the meeting.
