Ukraine is in talks with football federations of a number of countries for a boycott of world Cup 2018 in Russia or organizing protests in the framework of the upcoming sporting event.

This was stated by Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, Interfax reported.

"We are in talks with different federations and fan organizations as to how they can raise different political issues, or boycotting the championship, or clearly expressing their position during their stay in Russia”, Klimkin said.

It should be noted that the World Cup 2018 is scheduled to be held from June 14 to July 15 this year.
