Construction of a motorway bridge over the Samur River in Russian-Azerbaijani border is going to start on October, The Federal Road Transport Agency of Russia said.
The groundbreaking ceremony will be held in the territory of Yarag-Gazmalar checkpoint in Maharramkand district of Dagestan.
The event will be attended by Russian Minister of Transport Maksim Sokolov, acting head of Dagestan Vladimir Vasilyev and Azerbaijani officials.
The intergovernmental agreement on construction of bridge over the Samur River was signed on September 13, 2013.
