Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyevembarked on a visit to Tehran on Wednesday.
President Aliyev was welcomed by Iran’s Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Masoud Karbasian, who is also the co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Iran Intergovernmental Commission on economic, trade and humanitarian cooperation.
The Azerbaijani president is on a visit to Tehran for a summit with his Iranian and Russian counterparts, which is due to take place today.
