İCMAL.az reports that Turkic Council Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov took part in the award ceremony that was held during the closing ceremony of the 28th Annual Session of the Crans Montana Forum on 7 July 2017 in Barcelona.

Pursuant to the decision of the Fondation du Forum Universale`s Governing Board, the "Crans Montana Forum`s Gold Medal" was appointed as the highest honor of the event since forum’s 20th anniversary.

The Medal is awarded at the Crans Montana Forum on exceptional occasions and by the special decision of Forum officials in recognition of successful achievements in favor of a more Humane World.

During the previous Forums, the said medal were offered to Presidents, Prime Ministers, Ministers, Heads of International Organizations and other very important persons, who contributed toward a more human and impartial world.

Among the awarded persons were the President of Azerbaijan, President of Macedonia, Director General of ISESCO, Executive Director of CICA and others.

Ambassador Ramil Hasanov was selected by the Board of Management of the Forum for actions of the Turkic Council in promoting comprehensive cooperation among the Turkic Speaking States and making joint contribution to peace and stability in the region and in the world.

After the ceremony Secretary General Hasanov thanked Mr. Quirin, the President of Crans Montana Forum, and presented him souvenir of the Turkic Council.

Furthermore, Secretary General gave an interview to the local mass media about the activities of the Turkic Council, as well as the further perspectives of cooperation with Crans Montana Forum and other international organizations.

Advisor to the Secretary General Reshad Gasimov and Project Director Yedil Myrzakhanov accompanied the Secretary General during the ceremony.
