The Swedish municipality of Trelleborg suffered a public shooting at various locations around the city, and its possible there have been multiple attacks since people have been injured in multiple locations, according to initial reports and police statements.
Police first responded to reports of a shooting at a market in Trelleborg, particularly in the Ehrenbuschsgatan area. At least four people have been transported to nearby hospitals but the nature of their injuries remains unclear, according to a Swedish police report. "All of the injured are men," according to police. The area is known to be vulnerable to gang violence, according to social media users.
"We have received several reports of a shooting in Trelleborg," a police spokesperson was quoted saying by UK media.
