Prime Minister of Georgia met with helicopter crew of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili met with the crew of the helicopters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, taking part in extinguishing fires in the Borzhomi-Kharagauli reserve of Georgia.

 

Expressing gratitude to the rescue crews of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and Belarus, Giorgi Kvirikashvili noted that the joint struggle against the natural disaster is an example of friendship, partnership and humanism.

 

 

In response to an appeal by the Government of Georgia, on the instructions of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, 22 units of emergency equipment, including 1 helicopter and 134 personnel, as well as 2 helicopters of the State Border Guard Service with 6 crew members were sent to the disaster zone,.
