First-grade admission for the 2018-19 school year has begun in Baku.

 

The deadline for the receipt of documents is September 15.

 

Citizens are requested to pay a visit to alternative registration centers in the case of any problem with the application process and to commissions of appeal in all other cases.

 

Registration to schools under the Baku City Education Department of online applications of parents whose children have special talents and will complete the age of 6 between September 16 and December 31 will be done from February 22 to June 20.

 

In accordance with the rules for "early admission to the first-grade of children with special talents”, early admission will be conducted by the Competition Commission by way of interview in June and July.

 

A total of 51,000 children are expected to be admitted to the first-grade Baku-wide in the 2018-2019 academic year.

 

It should be noted that admission to the first-grade in the cities of Ganja and Sumgayit, and the Absheron district begins on March 12.
