President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyevhas received high-level participants of Subregional Workshop on Data and Statistics for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for High-Level Official Statisticians and the 57th meeting of the Council of the Heads of Statistical Services of the CIS.
APA reports president Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with holding of such an international event in Azerbaijan.
The head of the state noted that the statistical services engage in very important issues. He emphasized that development of statistical service is paid attention in Azerbaijan: "At the same time, we are interested in experience of countries living in political and socio-political transition period”.
Speaking about discussion of Sustainable Development Goals and indicators, A. Kumar noted that opinions were exchanged about successes countries achieved.
