Head of the Armenian delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Armen Ashotyan and delegation member Mane Tandilyan will take part in a conference of the Assembly’s Committee on Social Affairs, Education, Culture and Civil Society, which will be held in Baku on Sept. 22, Fuad Muradov, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Assembly.

 

Muradov said that he lacks information about the time of arrival of the Armenian deputies in Baku.

 

 

The conference, titled "The role of parliaments in promoting women's health and gender equality in Eastern Partnership countries within the framework of the 3rd and 5th Sustainable Development Goals”, will be held in Baku on September 22.  

 

The event will be co-organized by the Azerbaijani Parliament, the Committee on Social Affairs, Education, Culture and Civil Society of the Euronest PA, the UN Baku Office and the European Parliamentary Forum on Population and Development.

 

The conference will bring together representatives of the European Parliamentand deputies of the Euronest PA member states, UN officials, representatives of the Inter-Parliamentary Union of the European Parliament on Population and Development, and international experts.
